Description
The buildings on Otakaari 18 were constructed in two phases. Buildings B and C were completed in 2004, followed by building A ten years later. The properties include shared apartments, studios of various sizes, as well as two-room apartments suitable for couples and friends. A special feature of the top-floor shared apartments is the lofts: the apartments have slanted ceilings, and a large loft has been built above the shared facilities to provide additional space. Each shared apartment accommodates 2–5 residents. The rooms in shared apartments range from 10 to 13 square metres. In all shared apartments, all residents share the bathroom and kitchen. The nearest grocery stores are located in the A Bloc shopping centre, next to the metro station, and the wide range of services in the surrounding Tapiola is just a short metro ride away. In Otakaari 18 B and C staircases, surface materials were updated in 2023–2024, along with partial updates to kitchen fittings. The renovation included light updates to the apartments, such as floor renewal, wall painting, and replacement of kitchen fittings and fixtures. Additionally, bathroom fittings, faucets, shower walls, and silicone seams were also replaced. All apartments are equipped with blinds, providing privacy and helping to keep them cooler during the summer.

Apartments near the student community
Otakaari 18 is located in the heart of the student community, next to Servin Mökki, known for its student gatherings. The property is close to the event venue, and some apartments may occasionally experience noise from nearby parties, especially from windows facing the venue.
