On this page, you will find all the housing-related forms. Some forms are available electronically. Instructions for submitting forms are provided for those in PDF format.

Keys

It is possible to arrange the handover of apartment keys directly with the previous resident using this form. The form must be submitted to housing services no later than the day of the move. With the power of attorney you can authorize someone else to pick up the keys on your behalf.

You can order a new key, report lost keys, inquire about the door code, or address other key-related issues with the form below.

Apartment’s condition

Please complete the electronic form within one week of collecting the keys to your new apartment. In AYY housing, new residents always check the apartment’s condition when moving in. While the previous resident is responsible for leaving the apartment in excellent condition, there may be occasional surprises. 

For non-urgent defects, please submit a defect report to the maintenance company via the defect report form.
Exception: Maapadontie 5 where defect reports are made by phone to Maintenance Service Alamaa Ltd 045 277 6601).

Temporary transfer of tenancy

First check the guidelines for subleasing, secondary leasing and assignment! Secondary leasing and temporary assignment must be reported to AYY no later than one month in advance via the Domo system.

Compensation for the right of residence

Compensation for the right of residence can be requested for specific reasons. Applications must be submitted well in advance before the right of residence period ends or immediately upon return. Compensation applications are not processed during the summer period. 

Nuisance

Please complete this form to report any nuisance caused by other residents.

Guardian’s consent for minors

A guardian must provide consent for a minor to apply for AYY housing. The guardian is responsible for the lease and its obligations until the dependent reaches the age of 18. The completed form must be attached to the housing application.

Internet & TV

The apartment rent includes an internet connection that residents can use without any additional setup. Plug the Ethernet cable (with an RJ45 connection) into the wall and connect it to your computer.

Parking and control

Rental parking spaces are available near almost all of AYY’s properties.  If you need a parking space, please contact housing services using this form.

Storage units

Storage units are available for residents in AYY’s residential properties. A separate booking agreement is made for all storage spaces. For bookings or inquiries regarding storage units, please contact housing@ayy.fi

Painting the apartment

In AYY housing, residents have the opportunity to make their home reflect their personal style. AYY supports home improvements by providing vouchers for paints and painting supplies, fully funded by the student union.
